Pune: 5 people Die in Fire Breaks Out At Serum Institute Pune
Pune, Jan 21: a minimum of 5 people have died and nine were far away from a building within the Serum Institute of India's Manjari premises hereafter a hearth broke out at the location on Thursday, police said.
As many as 10 fire present was rush to the spot when the hearth broke out. chatting with media, Pune Mayor Murlidhar Mohol said, "Five workers have lost their lives within the fire that broke at the Serum Institute of India today. The five people that died, were perhaps the workers at the under-construction building. The explanation for the fireside is yet to be ascertained but it's being speculated that welding, that was happening at the building, caused the fireside ."

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said the govt has ordered an inquiry into the fireside.
The fire, which broke out at 2.45 pm on the fourth and fifth floors of the SEZ 3 building within the Serum Institute premises, was brought in check in two hours, police said.
Viral visuals from the location showed smoke billowing out from the Serum Institute facility. a fireplace brigade official said an explanation for the hearth is yet to be ascertained.
A National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team was rushed to the spot, a politician said.
Nobody was injured within the fire, he added.
Fifteen water tankers were pressed into action and therefore the fire was brought in check around 4.30 pm, he said.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has asked the state machinery to make sure that the hearth is brought in check, his office tweeted. he's in-tuned with the Pune Municipal Commissioner, the CMO added.
