IB ACIO Admit Card 2021 Out: Download Admit Card for IB ACIO Exam

In the Intelligence Bureau released in December 2020, the written examination admit cards have been issued for the candidates who have applied under the recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade 2 / Executive. Applicants can download their IB ACIO Admission Card 2021 from the Union Ministry of Home Affairs official website, mha.gov.in. Written examination is to be conducted on 18, 19 and 20 February 2021 as per the selection procedure prescribed for 2000 posts of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade 2 / Executive in the Intelligence Bureau under Home Ministry.

2 hours written test

According to the notification issued by the Intelligence Bureau, the written examination examination will consist of two parts 1-1 hours - Tier 1 and Tier 2. Tier 1 will have a total of 100 multiple choice questions from 5 different subjects. These subjects include General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical / Analytical / Logical Ability and Reasoning, English Language and General Studies. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer in Tier one of the written examination. The minimum prescribed cut-off to achieve success in Tier one is for 35 unreserved candidates. However, there's a cut-off of 34 marks for OBC / EWS and 33 for SC / ST and ex-servicemen. Candidates ten times the number of vacancies (20 thousand) are going to be declared successful for Tier two as per merit.

At the same time, Tier two of the written examination will have detailed answers of total 50 marks. It includes 30 marks Essay  and 20 marks English comprehension and abstract writing.

Candidates declared successful on the basis of overall performance in written examination Tier 1 and Tier 2 will be invited for the next stage Tier 3 / Interview.
