The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will start registration for the second round of NEET PG counseling from February 3. Registration window will be available till 7 pm on 7th February and free payment facility will be available till 3 pm. Applications will be published on mcc.nic.in. The Choice Filling facility will be available from February 4 to February 7 (11:55 pm) and the Choice Locking facility will be available on February 7 from 4 pm to 11:55 pm.

NEET PG Counseling 2021 Round 2 Seat Allocation Results will be published on 12th February. Selected candidates can report for admission between 13th and 19th February. The MCC NEET PG will also conduct an online, mop-up round of the counseling and registration and payment window as it is available from February 24 to 28.

It is important to note here that with this revised schedule, candidates who have already locked their choices can log in to their account and agree to unlock their choices if they wish to make any changes to the options they have filled out. Candidates who, on the other hand, do not wish to make changes to their already locked selections do not need to bother with this update, the MCC said. They do not need to take any action and their previously locked selections will be counted as their submission.

Notably, the first round of NEET UG Counseling 2021 was earlier postponed due to a hearing in the Madras High Court on January 27. Based on the order passed by the court bench, the authority announced a revised schedule.

The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) is an organization under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) affiliated to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. MCC is responsible for allocating space for undergraduate, postgraduate and super-specialty medical and dental courses in government-run / aided colleges and deemed-to-be-university colleges.

The MCC allocates seats online based on the candidate's score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The quality, reservation eligibility and priority list submitted by the candidate should be taken into consideration while allocating.

On January 28, the MCC extended the deadline for reporting to the allotted institutions for students selected in the first round to January 30.

The second notification states that the applicants can resign from the seats allotted in the first round till 4 pm on February 3. After that, the candidates will be considered as part of Round 2 and the rules applicable to 2 rounds of counseling will be applicable to them, he added.

Step 4: Click on the registration link.

Step 5: Register yourself and proceed with the application.

Step 6: Pay the fee and click on the submit option.
