BJP Parliamentary Board | Shock For Gadkari & The Committee!
It came as a setback to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan that the BJP's policy-making body, the Parliamentary Board, is being expected. Both of them were removed from the Parliamentary Board and the Central Election Committee by the BJP leadership. BS Yediyurappa and Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis have got a place in these committees in Karnataka, where assembly elections are due next year.
The name of CM Yogi Adityanath, who became the reason for coming to power for the second time in the country's largest state, UP, did not find a place. For the first time, six people, including a Sikh leader, were given an opportunity to join the BJP Parliamentary Board. Furthermore.. Politically, the pattern of generational change is clearly visible.
BS Yeddyurappa greeted in this context. The decision-makers of the party are stated to be the Parliamentary Board and the Central Election Committee. In a tweet, Yeddyurappa thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, JP Nadda and Amit Shah for giving him the opportunity to serve in the BJP's Parliamentary Board and Central Election Committee. He said he is honored to serve in the party's highest decision-making body.
Many in the party believe that this is an attempt to send a message that the BJP leadership still has high regard for experienced leaders and wants to use their experience and advice.
But the Congress is accusing the BJP of sidelining the Lingatha leader. Yeddyurappa recently ended his foray into electoral politics by claiming that he is the son of B Y Vijayendra from Sikaripura assembly seat, which the party has fielded in the 2023 state assembly polls.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan were removed from the BJP's parliamentary board in a major shuffle on Wednesday. Six new members came in, including Yeddyurappa and Iqbal Singh Lalpura (the first Sikh representative).
It is shocking that Nitin Gadkari, who is closely associated with the RSS, did not get a place. Recently, Nitin Gadkari announced his retirement from politics. The truce is said to have been made keeping this notice in mind.
