Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses students Hackathon

The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi addressed the thousand of students participating via video conferencing in Smart India Hackathon 2022 which will be today at 8 pm.

The Prime Minister also said that research and innovations has to be made a way of living with increasing acceptance for the society. He also said  that social and institutional support will boost innovation and new ideas and original thinking should be respected.

To increase the culture and innovation in India we have to pay constant attention to two things social support and institutional support. The acceptance of innovation as a profession has increased in society and in such situation we have to accept new ideas original thinking  he said.

The Future of India will wholly depend on the youth generation of India. There innovative mind will take India on top.  All the new opportunities and All with new ideas new aspirations new innovations new resolves will move forward.

PM Modi also mentioned the government’s efforts to make optical fibre reach all parts of the country as the 5G roll-out continues.
We will soon launch 6G as well. 
 
He also said Digitally in every field of educations medicines, technology,  artificial intelligence ,online gaming applications  were conveyed to Prime Minister who encouraged  students to build further and make country self-reliant in all these sectors.

With this vision in mind Smart India Hackathon (SIH) was started in year 2017 the government said in a statement. SIH is a nationwide initiative to provide students a platform to solve the pressing problems of society organisations and government.    

The number of teams registered the for Smart india hackathon has been four fold growth from around 7500 to the first edition and about 29,600 ongoing on fifth edition  is received.This year more than 15,000 students and mentors are travelling to 75 nodal centres to take part in the Smart India Hackathon  2022 grand finale.

 The winners awarded and will get the prizes and amount of 1 lakhs rupees.and under student innovation category  three prizes of 1 lakh, Rs75,000 , and  Rs50,000 will be  awarded to the winning teams.
